The lake is located one mile west of U.S. Highway 2; 22 miles north and east of Spokane, Washington.

Eloika Lake has two main access points for recreational uses. The first is located off Bridges road. Bridges is reached by turning west off Highway 2 at Millers One Stop Grocery. One mile off the highway is a public access provided by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. An access permit is required to park here. In 2007, a $345,000 IAC grant was awarded to significantly improve access. During 2008, a rehabilitation of the access took place. As of June 2009, a new restroom facility has been installed. The remainder of the construction, including a new boat ramp, dock, pathway, and additional parking and signing will be installed this summer. The Eloika Lake Association provides volunteer maintenance services at the facility.
